Although UK-based, WRAS approval is widely recognized internationally as a credible, independent benchmark for water-contact safety.
Why it matters for GRP water tanks
Water tanks that will store potable (drinking) water need to be made from materials that will not leach harmful substances or support bacterial growth. WRAS testing evaluates the materials and construction of a water tank against these criteria.
